The Confused Beginning
I still remember those early trading days.
I would sit in front of the screen, full of excitement. Charts everywhere, news flashing, social media buzzing — and me, clicking buy or sell without any real idea why.
Sometimes it worked. Most of the time, it didn’t.
By the end of each session, I was drained. Not just financially, but mentally. I couldn’t understand why I was losing. I thought I needed to try harder, trade more, follow more “setups” — but deep down, I was just guessing.
The Day I Faced Myself
One day, after another red day, I sat quietly and asked myself: \”What am I really doing here?\”
And I had no answer.
There was no structure in my trading. No clear logic. Just noise and emotion.
That was a hard truth to face, but that moment changed everything for me.
The Search for My Way
From that point on, I became obsessed with finding a way that would make sense to me.
I didn’t want to depend on someone else’s method. I wanted a system that matched my eyes, my mind, and my rhythm.
That’s when I started noticing a pattern: the biggest and cleanest moves always came after sudden bursts of volume. Not slow, quiet candles — but those explosive moments where the market revealed its real interest.
So I built my system around that.
Now, I don’t look for 10 small moves. I wait for one big, volatile move, with that volume burst that can give me at least 1:5 reward.
Making It Mechanical
From day one, I wanted a mechanical approach — rules that tell me when to enter and when to exit.
And now I finally have it.
No more overthinking or second-guessing. If the signal matches, I trade. If not, I sit.
It took time and effort to shape that system, but once I had it, trading became a whole different experience.
The Power of Simple Journaling
Along the way, I built another habit — journaling.
Not with fancy tools. Just Excel.
Each trade I take, I record. But here’s the most powerful part: if I ever break my own rules, I note it. I write what I did and why I did it.
And let me tell you — seeing your own mistakes in writing has a strange power. It keeps you aware. It stops you from repeating them.
Becoming Calm in Chaos
Today, I don’t feel rushed. I don’t feel the pressure to \”do something\” every five minutes.
I’m more relaxed, more confident, and honestly — more profitable.
Because now, I’m not chasing the market. I’m just waiting for it to show me my setup.
And when it does, I know what to do.
To The Trader Who Feels Lost Right Now…
If you’re reading this and you\’re in that phase. Losses feel random, and nothing seems to work. I’ve been in your shoes.
I know how it feels to doubt yourself.
But here’s what I want you to know: it gets better. It does.
Focus on finding better trades instead of searching for more.
Build your edge. Journal honestly. Follow your rules. And be patient — not just with the market, but with yourself.
You’ll get there.
One Last Thought
All it took was one decision — to stop guessing and start building.
And once that shift happened, trading stopped being painful. It became something I trust.
Not because the market became easy, but because I became disciplined.
